Does anyone have experience with periorifical dermatitis as a result of dutasteride? Pic rel, not me. I started taking oral dut about a month ago and about 3 weeks ago I developed this terrible rash around my eyes mouth and nasolabial folds. I had used topical finasteride before, but it didn’t do anything, dutasteride seems to be working well though. I’ve had atopic dermatitis my whole life, including on my face. I went to the doctor about it and he just said stop taking the dut, but hair is life and I’m losing it so that’s not an option. I don’t trust that it is being caused by the dutasteride but it’s very bad, so does anyone have experience with this? Either treating it without Rx or if dutesteride may have caused it in you and/or if topical dut may be a fix? Thx I’m dying here

Bump

Are you retarded? What else could it possibly be besides the dutasteride you started on? Just get on oral minoxidil and ru58841 and get off dut

I’ve had atopic dermatitis my whole life and it could be from the topical steroid I’ve used to treat it
