Easiest way to measure maxilla recession

If you have thin lips or big lips your maxilla is fucked. Not saying either is ideal but if you have prognathism and your maxilla is too forward your lips will be gay. If you have a flat maxilla or recessed your lips will probably be very narrow or very thin. The angulation has some effect but it’s mostly just growth. This is why fillers are a fucking meme, it won’t work if you have flat maxilla you will look like a fucking faggot. It’s over

Yes anyone with big soft lips has a forward grown maxilla. I don’t think it’s ideal for men but it can work.

You're not wrong but i think its quite unreasonable to judge skeletal development without seeing the dental x ray and other stuff like that. I mean there are people who literally study years to have a grasp of this things lol. So it must not be that easy.
However i think the side profile ratios (be it recessed or not) is which matters the most. I'm talking about this

This profile silhouette still can be maintained despite face not having optimum forward projection. There is this user here named bigchinhispanic who had bimax surgery his maxilla is still recessed and mandible body not optimal size but the way they have been oriented it'd give this superman warrior profile impression hence the recession would not be noticed by average population. I believe even the surgeons do it keeping this in mind if done for aesthetic reasons not for functional reasons

Yea it’s all about proportional distribution of growth, too much or too little in one direction will fuck you. If Nikolaj (my avi) had a recessed mandible he would be subhuman, but it actually could have been recessed if his maxilla was too forward. Bundy is another good example, his lower third looks better than it is because of how set back his maxilla is.
