Western zoomers are escaping western entertainment for alternative sources of entertainment. Anime, manga, games, kdramas, kpop, manwha/webtoon, web novels and etc. More than half of the zoomer kids at my school mainly only consume eastern media right now. Mirin quality entertainment takeover

Kdramas movies etc, some are good. But most are kinda boring or shit. Western has 1000x more actually successful good stuff

There’s like 1 Korean movie that everyone here knows - squid games. There’s millions of western movies in asia that every Asian knows…

Asians no longer listen to modern western music anymore. Also kdramas and anime dominate the Asian region. It's only the 35 plus year olds in Asia that were heavily influenced by hollywood. The only western entertainment definitely consumed in asia is the MCU.

Also has an Asian American, the boom in eastern entertainment definitely helps me relate to my non Asian classmates who now have the same interests as me. Kpop, anime, kdramas etc. Its pretty cool imo
