You need to get your body to a state of comfort. Find a quiet place, and just focus on your breath. Just breathe normally, and gradually unwind your body. Avoid trying too much to unwind; let it simply happen naturally. The more force you exert in trying to get relaxed, the less potent its effect becomes. Once you get comfortable, the time to focus your thoughts on your subconscious has come.
Once you are in a state of comfort, it's time to speak to your subconscious:
Now this is how your subconscious works, it listens to every word that you say. It does not hear the "meaning" of the words, but it does hear certain emotions. So when you say a particular word or sentence, it is paired with a particular feeling or emotion. Your subconscious then gets that feeling, and it starts creating your reality based on that feeling.
So in my case, my ego was hurting. So what I did is, repeat to my subconscious the phrases "surrender - acceptance" when I am at ease. I repeatedly used these word and worded it in my mind. After a while, my subconscious started to detect my surrender/acceptance feelings, and my body started to enter a state of "self surrenderment".
After I was at a place of surrendering about myself, then I started to see something change in my mind. My ego/mind would begin to silence and be still.
The issues that previously had worried me and troubled my ego, no longer seemed as important. I started to get little peeks at "inner peace."
