maybe that's just the shedding phase, and his implanted hairs will start to grow again soon?

Doing my own laser eye surgery later today so fingers crossed

hmmm doing a bit more research it looks like he DID in fact lose all of the hair (the loss wasn't just the typical shedding/ugly duckling phase that happens with all transplants), although it also looks like he isn't actually implanting the hairs with the folicle? He's just plucking a hair out and implanting it in.

That's surely why the hairs are staying? Although he seems to think he knows better than the surgeons and says you don't need the follicle. Even in spite of his results he maintains that he's right. Doesn't seem to be updating anymore so guess we won't get to see any results he currently has etc
