So basically you wanna go to a thrift shop and buy paintings. (usually quite cheap at 20-50$)

Then you simply just list them on facebook marketplace or whatever site for used stuff trading.
You can usually mark up the price by 1-200% depending on the painting.
Maybe some of the easiest money you can make.
I buy 10-20 paintings a month and just have an online shop, easy as fuck.

what are your margins on this & how easy are they to sell, do you do any marketing?

almost every painting gets sold within a few weeks even at the double/trippling of the price, so its quite a good margin.
just make a post on facebook marketplace and other similar sites and they just get sold easily.
sometimes i do posts on facebook sites for paintings that arents sold easily

Interested in how this would do in Canada, I've really never thought about flipping paintings, my doubt is just there would be 0 demand for them and they would just sit in the corner of my room
