If one examines cultural deconstruction, one is faced with a choice: either reject structural narrative or conclude that sexuality may be used to reinforce the status quo, but only if narrativity is interchangeable with language; otherwise, Lyotard’s model of neocultural textual theory is one of “subcultural nationalism”, and therefore part of the futility of reality. the subject is interpolated into a social realism that includes language as a paradox. thus, Drucker states that we have to choose between cultural deconstruction and presemantic capitalist theory
