Do you guys think education and having a college degree is a must to do in order to be financially successful and live a good life? (I'm not talking about "ya bro i'm gonna dropout and start dropshipping shit" i'm not looking for those scams easy stuff if you know what i mean).

Also does your opinion apply for most countries or just countries like US, EU and AUS?

It’s just teachers give all the materials and tasks and students based on that study

Everytime i pursue freedom and work on my own people tell me you can't go anywhere without a college degree

I am 1590 sat many math and physics competition winner, but tbh in this summer i realized that that life (university life,job,etc...) was not for me and i hate it even.i decided to be free : i started learning carpentry and also drawing . In winter i am planning to go to scandinavian mountains as ranger/supervisor for tourists because thats what makes me happy. So ill tell you that no education, nothing promises good life unless you are happy with that. You live once and only truth that we can trust is our gut and to where does it point.although, going back to your question : i think if you choose academic path yes financially you would be secure, but it depends if you want to work practically as slave till 60 for just money.I hope i answered your question (sorry for gramatical errors you may have noticed ,english is my fifth language:)) good luck in life!!

Appreciate your reply man.
My situation is almost the same i've been always one of my class toppers and i entered mediical school, but at my freshman year i realized the same thing; i hate the education system, yea the degree will make me financially secure but not the lifestyle i'm aiming for, even if it could it'll take me alot of time graduate, passing USMLE exam, residency,.....etc (i've no problem with working hard but this way will consume me mentally and physically).
The issue is that working with skills and side hustling won't be effective in my country (3rd world) i'm trying to find a way to get to country with good economic situation so i can apply my ideas there.

Depends I suppose, i’m wanting to go into a university as an example. Will it help for the later life ? Yes I’d say, but the education there probably not. Most material of the university’s or schools are useless.
History/biology/anthropology and so on are “controversial”, that’s why it’s needed by most to search your own information from the internet
