If Egyptians are not considered Arabs in this map then Levantines and Mesopotamians shouldn’t be either. Either Arabs should represent all of Arab world, or just the Arabian peninsula. Arabization was more an assimilation of local cultures into Arab culture than an ethnic takeover of Arabs. Arab DNA did not replace Egyptian DNA, and modern Egyptians are largely descended from ancient Egyptians.

If you go by the definition of ethnicity that they are groups of people who collectively believe to share attributes and culture, then Egyptians are Arabs. But genetically they are not Arabs and that’s the case for lots of populations in the Arab world
