I see you talking about health a lot, what is your personal healthstack as in habits that you do daily and supplements you consume that make you "healthy"?

So the supplements I take is collagen 20 g/day (collagen is really great because it’s high in glycine and low in essential amino acids) and vitamin d3, tho d3 supplement is not nearly as good as going outside. I take cod liver oil not daily but 1-2 times per week because I don’t eat much fish but eating fish would be better. I take aspirin when I have a headache or when I feel bad. I was taking caffeine (mTOR inhibitor) through coffee and chocolate, but now I am reconsidering caffeine. I take black pepper (for the piperine) with turmeric (for the curcumin). Also, I take turmeric when eating foods high in iron because turmeric inhibits iron absorption (high iron accelerates aging) and I take parsley sometimes.

I make sure to not overeat (caloric moderation), but some days I’ll eat a huge amount because on some days I’ll barely eat anything. I don’t eat dinner in most days, just breakfast and sometimes lunch. (Absorption is better earlier in the day and eating late disrupts the circadian clock and sleep and shortens lifespan. I don’t do time restricted feeding for the intermittent fasting per se but the reasons I just stated.)

After eating I do exercise (postprandial exercise, PPE) to lower the blood sugar after eating.

I’d consider my diet high in fat and moderate in protein and carbohydrates. One of my main staples is nuts, especially raw nuts. Raw foods are better than cooked foods in that the lack of thermal processing means you don’t create methylgloxyal and glyoxals, which can lead to advanced glycation end products. I eat scallops at least once a week for the taurine. Now my diet is usually low in meat but I’ll eat more meat if that’s what’s available or if I am recovering from gymmaxxing/sports. I don’t consume dairy mainly because of the galactose content (which accelerates aging, but when I do consume dairy I eat parsley for the apingenin which ameliorates the harm of galactose) I try to eat little processed foods, and I seldom eat wheat products. I also restrict fruit intake because of the fructose content (fructose is unhealthy compared to glucose) so the only fruit I eat is sweet peepers (insanely high in vitamin c) and avocados (really low in sugar and high in fat and some nutrients) When I eat, I eat the the protein and fat sources (and low carbohydrate vegetables) first and after that I consume the carbohydrates because there’s evidence that this eating order reduces the postprandial blood sugar increase.

I also do coldmaxxing because there is really good evidence that cold slows aging. I take cold showers and then dry off under a fan. I wear no shirt and have the fan on in my room (still it’s not cold but it’s cooler)

I limit light exposure before bed time and I meditate before bed. I use black out curtains so that I can get deep sleep even as the sun comes up. I sleep on a slight incline and on my side for optimal positioning for health. Upon waking, I expose myself to bright light for the circadian clock.

I don’t go in the sun that much but not for health reasons but to slow skin aging. Going in the sun would probably be better for whole body longevity. I go outside nearly every night because I believe being outside has benefits not just from the sun.
