Most died by disease, starvation, exhasution, dehydration (usually a combination of them)
And most direct deaths were by gunfire and not gas

If hundreds of thousands of bodies were burned there would be clear evidence that would be trivially easy to present to the public. you would be able to see obvious sediment of ash in a soil sample in a layer consistent with the time of operation, there would be clearcutting of local trees to provide fuel (given that germany was highly constrained on its access to fossil fuels to the point where they were using makeshift woodgas engines to powered some 500,000 domestic vehicles), there would be hundreds of thousands of teeth/bones/etc which would not have burned,

People bend over backwards and do olympic level mental gymnastics on this because they are thoroughly propagandized from birth by jewish influence in media and school to have a quasi-religious belief that hitler is the most evilest man who ever lived and the holocaust is some unique sacred moment in history that has to be remembered forever and for which we all carry some innate guilt that we have to suck jew dick forever to expunge. Yeah and the one gas chamber that is still standing in Auschwitz is very well known to just be a russian reconstruction. Why would they rebuild a gas chamber is beyond me.
