Can i get any sound from any guitar/amp or it depends on the brand? Or how flexible guitars are when it comes to switching genres?

I want to play riffs with these sounds, which amp and guitar i should look for? Can same guitar play both of them?

i hate posting here but i need to do it I've been doing guitar for like 7 years and shit any amp pretty much as long as its over 100 will give u a good sound there as long as u have good settings and good distortion on there, i don't rlly play thru amps anymore i just plug it in via audio interface to my computer and use virtual amps and stompboxes for song recordings. i play genres from jazz metal rock blues classical as well

i hate posting here but i need to do it I've been doing guitar for like 7 years and shit any amp pretty much as long as its over 100 will give u a good sound there as long as u have good settings and good distortion on there, i don't rlly play thru amps anymore i just plug it in via audio interface to my computer and use virtual amps and stompboxes for song recordings. i play genres from jazz metal rock blues classical as well

So it works the way i thought? It would be awesome if i can play both metal and 80s surf type riffs at the same time tbh

its all about skill adn the guitarist bro just get an amp fr id recommend fender champion 20 or 40 if ur just starting out has great metal tones

So there is no drastic sound differences right? Also how these virtual amps work at all? I read that you can connect guitar to the computer but its not recommended from what i have read so far

idk virtual amps not too good tbh because of playback issues id recommend just getting an amp u can play shoes and play loud asf

for virtual amps u need guitar + cable + audio interface a daw and good speakers

just get an amp its easier
