Women will always choose b, unless they're rich and have their financial needs met by their father/grandfather.
There's nothing better for them than feeling safe with a rich and powerful man, being able to have social exposure, and attending events that a normal person couldn't afford. That security of not being anxious because they have no resources and they need to work to provide them (so they need to take the masculine inside of them).
There will be exceptions, but that's what they're wired for.
Given this premise, what are the elements that "SHOW" that you're a rich man in our modern time?
We know that before they could be, have a sharp spear that could kill and cut, have a strong physique that meant they could protect and kill, have shelter, like a cave, or a fire to cook food.
So society has evolved, and today we can signal wealth through many other things: material possessions, behaviors (intangible).
What are the current elements? Are there any posts on this topic that could explain this well?
