Life is about finding the most elite habits and sticking to them.
Every day putting in the reps that get you where you want to be health-wise, in your chosen career and socially too
One day doesn’t create success…
Just as one missed day doesn’t result in failure
You can coast by on bursts of sporadic activity for a while, getting motivated, smashing gym 4 days in a fucking row and then burning out
You could even work on your side hustle every night for two weeks, but then your sleep gets cut into, you get tired and demotivate yourself because your health falls to the wayside.
This is not the way to do life.
The real success? Bruv! The real success goes to the genius that can commit to regular habits that become ingrained in his being.
This INCLUDES giving his body what it needs for the mind to perform
Slow and steady wins the race. Cliche, but true. And that race is a MARATHON.
The ‘tortoise’ who is there in the running for years will eventually surpass the ‘hare’ who sprints to the finish line, collecting issues as he goes.
It's not sexy, but it is the key.
Your health and life is a painting, with you the artist. If you can commit to putting a few strokes of paint on it each day, then over time you’ll have a masterpiece. Do NOT let the brush gather dust in the attic for months at a time, as life is a game of attrition.
As a game of attrition, ff you stay in the running you will win.
Most people end up overestimating what they can do in a year, but underestimating what they can do in 5.
Avoid the big pitfalls, commit to daily efforts moving in the right direction and the world is your oyster.
