Elliot Rodger is praised as a "saint" and representative of the incel movement, however this is unjust, as he could've slayed if he wanted to, and the day of retribution was underwhelming and erratic. The 2014 Isla Vista killings diverged significantly from what Elliot Rodger had set out do do as per his manifesto and preceding videos.
What he planned: Rodger's central plan was to infiltrate Alpha Phi sorority house, intending to kill sorority members he associated with the women who had rejected him, before moving on to attack people at a larger scale in Isla Vista.
What actually happened:
All in all he just killed a bunch of random civillians who had little to no overlap with his TFD mission. He also was just a bad person who never attempted to engage in a relationship with a woman, he was ~hltn with even higher smv (wealth) and definitely could've at least had a one night stand with a ltb or something if he ever tried. He still somehow gets praised online (specifically tiktok), with some mfs talking about going ER (which in retrospect means spree killing randoms), he was a loser and doesn't represent the blackpill movement

- He never gained entry to the Alpha Phi house. He knocked on the door but no one answered, and he gave up after a couple of minutes without forcing his way in
- He then stabbed his roommate and two other men in his apartment earlier that evening (no affiliation to the people who made his life hell)
- He shot three random women outside a different building nearby, killing two.
- He then drove through Isla Vista opportunistically shooting at pedestrians and pulling his car into people, killing a man and wounding several others
- The event ended when he exchanged gunfire with police, was wounded, then died by suicide after crashing his car (he wanted to have a grave suicidal confrontation at the sorority house or something)
