He has never been the same since that trip to Israel. They probably told him to support them unconditionally, he then got ahead of himself saying "Well i defend free speech and i don't see myself manipulating the algorithms for the sake of any party", and afterwards they perhaps proceeded to show him some embarassing video, possibly involving himself roleplaying with a fake Hitler moustache, a jar of strawberry jam and a poor dog
