He's good at getting rich people to invest a shit ton of money in technologies that are much father off than he makes them seem, both for his companies and his competitors.

But by doing this, he's arguably been bringing the future of self driving cars, humanoid robots, ai, and rocket trips to mars, closer. Potentially all of these technologies will happen a decade or two sooner than they would have without Musk.

He also punctured a hole in the digital brainwashing and indoctrination system that was the internet by buying X. Potentially saving democracy.
