So my round 1 was very successful

But ive got an unfortunate complication. some metal plating is hanging out of my gums. They had to design it really low on my guns because of how short my mid face was, so unfortunately theres some underhang on the metal there.

Round 2 plan:
revise the incisions with a flap to prevent bone infection.
midface implants. this was the main thing i wanted. surgeon says no can do. wants to seal this up properly and let it heal first
rhino
buccal fat removal
jaw and chin implants

kinda bummed i wont get the big thing i wanted, but i guess we'll have it eventually. instead of august, we're bumping this round up to a few weeks from now because doc is actually really worried

you should seriously consider using tret .1%, your forehead could use some collagen increased turnover. Relatively high roi softmax compared to your implants and surgery imo.

are you crazy?? chin implants??? Your chin is so advanced you going for the ogre look? is that the new swag? your jaw doesnt need implants either. just get the rhino n buccal fat and add a lip lift.

Based on previous pictures and discussions, I would suggest to not proceed with a chin implant. In my uneducated opinion, genioplasty is the way to go for you. If you can't do a genio, wait until later instead of rushing an implant.
Is Mehmet really proficient at rhinoplasty ? Have you seen enough of his results involving an alar plasty, drastic volume reduction and grafting ? In other words, have you seen cases of his similar to yours ? If his skills are just average, I would suggest to save the rhino for another time and another surgeon.

not looking for any advancement. trying to add on to the side and beneath it fix symmetry and proportions. it's also very fleshy, so in hoping this spreads that flesh out better (or i'll just ask him to reduce the fleshiness). going for shape too on the jaw. my left side mandible is somewhat convex, i want that bone to look straighter. i already have gum show on a full smile and struggle to keep my mouth closed when eating, not sure a lip lifts a realistic move at this point anymore

not at all. i originally messaged him asking if it was a bug deal or if we could leave it that way cuz it was kinda cool. he got pretty urgent, apparently it was a big deal

I had mentioned it and doctor said my width didnt seem to be a big issue it was mainly the recession. which yeah the recession was worse, but width was still an issue imo. still happy with our plan and how everything turned out.

I'm suggesting to the team that we actually just do buccal and rhino this swing. implants and or genio would take a lot more time; id need ft scans, a few iterations of a design process, manufacturing and shipping time. soft tissue work alone should have a much faster turn around. then i'll have time to plan everything out better for next time

i mainly want the chin centered better, and im not a big fan of the angle it protrudes at. and then i want the jaw bones to have a different curvature to them. the jaws not a huge priority but i just figured id do them in conjunction

checking on everything, then cutting a flap of skin on the gums to fold over the metal so it seals it up. i think

my chins already in a decent spot, so i wouldnt need anything big. but genio would still require a full slice through the mandible, harsher recovery, and (very mild) risk it heals wrong. because of how little change id need it would just make sense to me to add a little peek to it if it was less invasive and led to similar results. we'll see though. now that the nose is getting taken care of i'll have a lot longer to think about this and get it all planned out
