Empathy is a weakness you must pay attention to.

Over the last few months a lot of notable and interesting situations have gone down across the world. With this, i’ve noticed me empathizing with objectively bad people/organizations, despite them being bad. If this were some other situation, a war for example, I should capitalize on the enemy, maybe even celebrate? But feel empathetic like I am? Definitely not.

Those who are the most empathic are usually the ones who are easier to manipulate/prey on. There’s tens of ways you can play on an empathic person’s emotion.

It goes without saying that with empathy comes emotion. In today’s standards, and most likely in every time period that humans lived, being less emotional and more clearheaded is a superpower. The one who thinks with emotions is the one who lost.

I don’t want this writing to be seen as edgy. Having emotions and empathy is necessary: it’s good. It’s what makes someone human.

But in my eyes and in the eyes of nature, a psychopath is smarter than an overly emotional person.
