Empathy: The ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
The above is a psued theory and here's why.
When 'empathising' with another being one creates an internal model of said being. I want you to try empathising with a friend who's getting bullied rn. Put yourself in their shoes, imagine how pathetic, humiliated and scared they'd be feeling.
Now, what is this internal model the product of? YOU! Your brain, your neurons, your synapses, this internal model aka 'empathy' is literally just a projection of yourself and applied ON TO another being as if it represents any accuracy of their situation whatsoever. There is no inherent ability to understand the feelings of another when the only feelings and internal models a conscious being can produce is one of its own, the concept of empathy is entirely paradoxical and ALL yes ALL humans are solipsistic psychopaths, no exceptions.
Getting on to the cruel NT aspect of the mechanism. When one shames someone for being 'unempathetic' (usually an autist) all they're saying is: Your unconscious internal model of other people is faulty, you don't think like the tribe and this is bad! That's literally it, it's pure neurotype tribalism with absolutely no scientific rigor used to virtue signal/ostracise autists.
