Ending the hunter eyes aren‘t ideal cope

Since some time there are many people here who say that hunter eyes are a meme, aren’t good for appeal etc.

Is this true? Obv not.
Do you need hunter eyes to be considered as really good looking or masculine looking?
Also obv not as we can see with Cavill or Bomer for example.
But nonetheless, hunter eyes are a massive halo and would ascend almost everyone.

I think one big issue for this sudden hate against hunter eyes is that the definition of hunter eyes is really unclear.
These people who say hunter eyes are a meme probably think that only eye areas like the ones of O pry, Eriksen, Barret etc. count as hunter eyes. But this is not the case.

So what makes eyes hunter eyes?
As the name already says hunter eyes are generally supposed to look a bit more intimidating and more alert like the eyes of predators in the animal world (tigers, lions, wolfs, snakes, lizards, crocodiles, eagles etc.)
Attributes of hunter eyes:
-deep set eyes
-above average browridge
-hooded eyes with no or just minimal UEE; ideally neutral hooding
-vertically narrow; horizontally wide eye shape
-elongated and ideally downturned medial canthus
-neutral or even better a slight positive canthal tilt
-long, thick, dense eyebrows
-low set preferably positive tilted eyebrows
-dense, thick eyelashes
-colored/light eye color

Important here is to mention that an eye area can still be considered as hunter eyes without fitting every single criteria from this list.
And this is the key point.


Many people here wouldn’t consider Brad Pitts eye area as hunter eyes just because he has negative tilted and more medium set eyebrows.
But the truth is that he has hunter eyes.
If we look at his eye area we can see that he fits pretty much all the criteria and his eyes overall have an alert and slightly low trust appearance:

He has vertically narrow and horizontally wide almond shaped eyes, he has a slightly downturned medial canthus, he has a PCT, he has hooded eyes, his eyes are deep set and the browridge decent, he has wide dense eyebrows.

So all in all he definitely has hunter eyes.
The negative eyebrow tilt doesn’t change that since it’s just one attribute and his eyes overall still look alert and slightly low trust.

And now tell me again that hunter eyes are low appeal or a meme.
