Endocrinologist would’ve prescribed hgh earlier

Recently got my parents to take my height seriously and after a bone scan my bone age is 18 at 16.5 chronological age. Not sure why this is I’m assuming a severe hormone imbalance around 13-15 especially in middle school I was going through a lot.

Once this was confirmed the endocrinologist my mom was working with said she would’ve went through with growth hormone therapy if my bone age was caught earlier. This is pretty unfortunate to hear knowing I was right and everyone was wrong, even my doctors.

I’m 5 inches shorter than my dad so I’m assuming the endo would’ve said I had ISS (which I agree with). It’s almost impossible to find out the real reason behind my height now which also sucks, needless to say I will be getting 3 inch femur leg lengenthing, not because I necessarily want to but because I need to. My parents are supporting of me getting LL surprising when they weren’t very supportive at all when they caught me using gh.

Just a couple more years untill I’m surgery maxxed it’s never over guys. 5’5 to 5’8 might not be a lot but it’ll be life changing for me. Let this be a sign to get that bone age scan asap!

Average parents height to 5’7 + 2.5 = 5’9.5 predicted. 1.5 inch off isn’t bad, in my case it was over 2.5 inches shorter my predicted height. The doctor literally told me “we consider 5’5 as an acceptable males height”. Quite literally barely made the cut off to be seen as normal in the medical world lol. How’s life at 5’8 tho? I’ll be there in a couple years

I know, however, I have heard Recovery is tough, I haven't even seen much review's from people post recovery.

the mid parental height for someone with my parents height is 5'10.5 for a male on average jfl. The normal range is 5'8.5 to 6'2.5.

My fault I did the equation wrong, I can see why you’re upset with 5’8. Still do you feel your short day to day? Cause even If I feel good one day someone is almost certain to make a comment.

no one makes comments about my height anymore ngl. A year ago today i was 16 and 5'6.5 and I used to be told I was short by friends.
