bc it's like cs and anything medical related they're majors everyone goes into not bc they're genuinely interested in it and high iq enough to understand the course material but bc they think it's an easy way to make money

a lot of people either end up getting bored or end up getting overwhelmed (bc engineering is very high cortisol) so they switch
