English spelling is extremly annoying, sometimes I have to look up trivial worlds just to not completly butcher the spelling.

In german i legit never make mistakes, frustrating shit.

Maybe I should read more english literature

Not really. It's an easy language. Try learning gook languages. That's where the things start getting difficult e.g. mandarin.

I wasn't talking about the spelling not the language retard.

Mandarin doesn't have any spelling at all, just characters (idk how you wrote those online tbh)

just use grammarly theory

Not really when it comes to spelling, you can't contribute the sounds to spellings like in spanish for example

Entry level English is easy but there's no skill ceiling. Go read 18th century English philosophers, guys are speaking in 100 word sentences.

English language’s lack of phoneticism disturbs me at an elemental level. I’m used to spelling everything the same way it is written from Hungarian

Middle English is actually quite similar to german, you really get to see how they have common roots and how they evolved over time, it is still noticable in some nouns and verb types, for example: foreword(de Das Vorwort - literally meaning the word before), to besiege - besiegen, then for example the ending -kind when transforming certain words - Mankind, die Menschlichkeit

In my country we have two written languages we need to learn :fuk:

It's the only language I can speak and can bearly spell words yet performed really well in english during school, modern educaiton with computers kills the ability to spell

Bro what, ur gaslighting me :lul: how can u not like the ass of the first girl?
The ass of the first girl is alright but not the best. She's quite skinny.

I don't like bbws. I like them thick, soft, fluffy and not too fat. Not too skinny or slim.

Mankind means Menschheit not Menschlichkeit

In Hungarian everything is written phonetically, how it is written is how you spell words (Russian is also similar to this, that’s why I always had an easy time learning it).

In English you have words like Worchestershire, which don’t imply how you should spell it. On top of this it always frustrated me how much Americans and Brits pronounce the same written words differently

The Hungarian thought process is too advanced for others to understand

Like we write dates in YYYY/MM/DD format and names in [surname][firstname] order, adresses in a zooming in fashion (city, then street name, then house number)

it’s much more logical this way yet elsewhere people do it differently (except the Japanese)

It's due to the history of England pretty much. Multiple invasions changed how words are spelled and pronounced.
