I'm the type of guy girls feel "safe" around, I got a couple that consider me their guy best friend, and always vent and talk to me about shit. They also ask me shit about their boyfriend. I'm not enough to actually have a girlfriend though. I don't know if it's my looks or what but I'm just capped at "guy best friend", and anything else is out of reach.

The guy you "don't have to worry about" might just be a cel like me though so if your girl has a guy best friend don't worry, he's a best friend for a reason. Although anytime you do something she even slightly dislikes, he'll be the first to know.

The thing is ,if your personality was truly a problem then you'd had trouble making friends with them too , if you have maxxed out all your personality stats and on the extras , you're social, you have good hobbies
Yet you fail in dating then the fault lies in your physical attractiveness
Remember, the only difference between a best friend material and boyfriend material for girls is physical attractiveness, might sound corny but it's true
