I’ve been looking into epigenetics for a bit now and I’m having some thoughts about it. I’m thinking of making a thread, since NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT

WHO WOULD WANT TO BE TAGGED?

before I do, I first want to know about YOUR OPINIONS ON epigenetics? Total bullshit or true?

I think it works to some extent, there’s many factors to include here though

epigenetics is the idea your gene activity CAN be influenced by your surroundings. It’s honestly something that may very well be true.

eugenics is just a fancy way of saying you value desirable traits in reproduction, influencing your future children and their looks

I’d be interested to hear why???

there’s so many things that affect you while growing up, we humans were made to change and mold into our enviroments, to some degree some of this is real and not cope

It’s silly for me to cite anecdotes to prove “pseudoscience” wrong, but plenty of characters show that epigenetics don’t really put anything to play and in the end it’s just genetics. Hernan Drago and his brother, Hernan had way worse nutrition and was a fat chud, arguably worse than his brother and they look completely different, same with the Pitt brothers, same with Rodrigo Guirao and his brother, it’s good to be healthy but in the end it doesn’t make a lot of difference

The thing is everybody always mentions hernan drago and his brother, and although I don’t know the whole story, I think infact this is exactly where epigenetics could come into play

for me epigenetics isn’t just diet or excercise, it’s way more than that. And that’s exactly why I’d make a thread for it. A lot of people don’t get the whole idea of it, like I said it’s a lot a lot a lot of things to take into account here

i saw a tiktok video the other day saying epigenetics is cope because of hernan drago and genetics is jsut a lucky lottery.
I don't think i completely agree with it but it does have some logic yes.
First hand i've seen cucked epigenetics cause I'm indian but again i haven't done much research so i'd appreciate the tag
