equanimity is not the apathy of not feeling pleasure or pain,rather it is non-attachment and non-aversion to ups and downs,pleasures and pains,praise and blame.
Krishna said he who has equanimity is situated in Brahman(who he was,a avatar of the infinite sattva known as lord Vishnu)
attachment brings suffering,remember when you liked a hot girl ands you craved her and you weren't reciprocated?or the effort of wooing a girl?the anxiety all involved in it?
the want for sexual pleasure yet not having it?anmd when you get it you need it again or you lose the vehicle to it?
equanimity leads to better sex because you can take pleasures and leave pleasures as they go without being overly involved in the outcome.
it is a sublijme state!
here's how I developed some equanimity lately:
I blessed my aura to have full and pure equanimity always.
this works.try it.it's just using your psuychic power and magick to influence your state.
I tried this with being approached ang got approached twice....but i found this did not bring the pleasure i was seeking.
all conditioned pleasures are the need in the jiva to experience the infinite unconditioned pleasure known as sattva in it's infinite form,aka God aka lord vishnu.
