Erda dosing question

For fgfr3 inhibition wouldn't 8mg eod be superior to dosing it 8mg everyday? If you wanna save supplies and still have roughly the same inhibition the next day, it would make more sense. Erda has a very long half life.The picture below can explain it better

Other than more stable blood concentration, I don't see why people don't just dose it eod instead of everyday.
