Most of you only know Erdafitinib as the magic Height growth supplement that supposedly lets shortfags have insane growth spurts. But there's more to this supplement. In this thread I will be discussing what it is, how it works and if its worth it taking for you or not.

How does it work and what is it used for?
Erdafitinib (also known as Balversa) is an oral pan-FGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It blocks FGFR1-4. It was never designed as a height drug or “supplement.” It’s a cancer medication. The supplement is used in adults for advanced bladder cancer treatment with specific alterations in FGFR-2/3. It's usually used when chemotherapy or PD-1 drugs don't work. Also used for treating brain tumors.

Erda removes the FGFR3 brake that normally slows growth plate activity, so while the plates are still open it can make them grow much faster.

What are the studies saying?
Few studies show above average height growth in humans, which is the reason people use it as a supplement for height growth.

• One 15-year-old male grew 14.3 cm in 9 months (which is 19 cm annually.) X-rays showed widened growth plates and metaphyseal sclerosis. He then developed severe kyphoscoliosis and spinal cord compression that required surgery. Drug had to be stopped.
• Other studies (with kids from age 10-13) also show 9-10 cms of growth in 4-6 months.

All of these examples show big height growth, but Erda isn't primarily a height growth drug.

Cons of Erda (!!!!)
Erda comes with consequences, some of them being mild and some of them being really strong

Serious / potentially permanent:

• Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) and severe spinal deformities (kyphoscoliosis, spinal cord compression) they often require surgery
• Eye toxicity (central serous retinopathy / vision problems)

Very common:

• Hyperphosphatemia (almost everyone gets this)
• Nail damage / onycholysis
• Severe dry mouth, dry skin, stomatitis

Common but more manageable:

• Diarrhea
• Fatigue
• Decreased appetite

And the obvious one:

• Does nothing for height once growth plates are fused

TL;DR
Erda works well if the growth plates are open but once they're fused there's no saving you. Erda will just poison you. The growth could easily deform you. Take it with risk lol and don't be a fucking retard
