i’m calling it now. erdafitinib is straight cope if you’re using it for height. it’s a pan-fgfr inhibitor made for bladder cancer, not for clean bone growth. it hits fgfr1, 2, 3 and 4 all at once and that causes way more problems than benefits.

i looked at the actual case reports, the fda label and what happened in cancer patients. the growth some kids showed is real but it’s messy as fuck and comes with sides that can ruin you.

the idea behind it is simple. fgfr3 slows down growth in the plates. blocking it can let the cartilage grow more so bones get longer while they’re still open. some cancer kids on erdafitinib did show fast linear growth and wider growth plates. one pre-pubescent boy had massive overgrowth in his long bones.

sounds promising until you remember it’s not selective. it smashes all fgfrs, not just fgfr3. that’s where the problems start.

first, hyperphosphatemia is extremely common, like 70-80% of people get it bad. high phosphate levels can lead to calcification in soft tissues, skin problems and even vascular issues. you often need binders or have to lower the dose constantly.

eye toxicity is another big one. central serous retinopathy happens in a decent percentage of users. fluid builds up under the retina and it can fuck with your vision. regular eye checks are required and some people still get permanent damage. risking your eyes for a few extra cm is insane.

then there are the bone problems. slipped capital femoral epiphysis has been reported in kids on fgfr inhibitors, including erdafitinib. that’s when the hip slips and you might need surgery. there are also cases where the overgrowth caused kyphoscoliosis, a curved deformed spine. instead of clean extra height you end up with structural issues that make you look worse.

other common sides include bad mouth sores, diarrhea, dry skin, nail problems that get infected, fatigue and hand-foot syndrome. a lot of patients in the cancer trials had to interrupt or reduce the dose because they couldn’t tolerate it.

compare that to tyra-300 which is much more selective for fgfr3. the mouse data for tyra showed better bone length gains with less off-target mess. erdafitinib is like using a sledgehammer when a scalpel would be better.

on top of that there is almost zero data for using it in healthy short guys. the growth stories come from cancer treatment side effects, not controlled height studies. nobody knows the right dose for heightmaxxing ( atleast what ive researched ). people are just guessing based on cancer doses or underground sources and hoping for the best. purity is another gamble.

bottom line, erdafitinib is genuine shit. the growth comes with too many complications, disproportionate overgrowth, eye risks, phosphate chaos and daily misery. most guys would be better off maxing what they can control instead of chasing every new cancer drug that shows some growth as a side effect.

what are your thoughts? has anyone here actually tried erdafitinib or seen real bloodwork and x-rays from it? Rep me pls

I feel Infigratinib is better ngl, just the GnRH signaling being stopped is what gets lots of people but you can just run exogenous hormones✌️

U should researxh in tyra-300. Just wait till sources come ig or pin exogenous hormones loke u said

I've researched all the FGFR blockers like TYRA-300, Infigratinib, LOXO-435, and Erdafitinib. imo it's best to run infigratinib within a cycle to avoid dishing out possible hundreds for TYRA-300 but outside of running a cycle TYRA-300 is best imo✌️

you know if you selectively inhibit fgfr3 your body will send the same signal it would through fgfr3 through fgfr1,2 just weaker as a compensatory mechanism. its not a theory its actually a documented phenomenon.
you can counteract fgfr3 signaling with voso or navepegritide or do tyra which u 100% cant afford (1k a gram) . erdafitnib is the strongest and looks most promising on paper
