Today I went to the park with my family.
Some background: the area where I live is still mostly quarantined, so the playground at the park was all wrapped up in police tape and whatnot. Most people don't go out still.
What I witnessed at the park was singlehandedly the most suifuel I could have imagined. I'll walk you through my thought process.
The park was mostly empty, an Indian family sitting at a table on one side, some mom and her friend letting their kids play. We walked around and let my toddler sister run about, jumping around rocks and stuff.
This was, until, I saw them. Two highschool lovers, most likely 16, with the girl wearing the shortest shorts I've ever seen, grinding her prettyboy bf. Laying down in public and touching each other. When they saw we were coming sort of near they stopped, and laid together, still making out and and she looked at him with the most in love stare of all time.
When we moved from that area, I turned around and saw them going back at it. Their arms fully around each other. I literally felt like going ER at that moment. I wanted to know what would happen if I came up to them and stared at them while they were doing that.
Ofc I didn't actually do that bc I'm not some autist. I just hurried away with my family and we then played for the rest of an hour or so.
Their simple teenage love, a thing I will never have had, will live rent free in my brain for the foreseeable future.
