Escaping society is the only real option

People and society are filled with worthless ideas, goals and the like.

Serenity is ruined by other people.

The only way to true peace and enlightenment is by escaping society and living like a hermit, or at least living around few people (+ obviously SR and stuff, but I'm talking about your surroundings)

True, but "escaping society" includes not using internet and such too.

Escaping unfair contributions to society is more like it.

The main issue is your productivity is stolen from you and you get given like 10% back as a barely survivable wage while most of it just goes to trust fund Chads next yacht. Capitalism is basically corrupt communism at this point.

Not really. That's escaping the modern world. U can easily disconnect from the internet, and it's useful for me when I'm producing music and shit

At my end of the scale it’s the same thing, I have to go through years of brutal underpaid wageslaving just to be allowed an ascetic life. Even buying a small off grid cottage would take half a lifetime for me and that’s not even considering that you’d still need to somehow provide basic human needs such as food and heat. You are also still forced to pay property taxes, there’s no true escape.

Going to live in the woods without a plan is just not viable.

We are economic cuckolds and cannot escape other people without decades of grind.

Ye u need money to start with to buy a cheap tiny house and plot of land, and some sort of small income afterwards
