Estriol hyperpigmentation

I've heard topical estriol can cause hyperpigmentation has anyone else heard about this some people said on reddit. I've just started using it.

Seems very unlikely, estrogen affectd melanin yo some degree so i guesd it could maybe worse it if itd alreafy there but i wouldnt worry

Any skin product can cause hyper or hypopigmentation depending on how you react to it but low odds across the board obviously unless youre prone

Is there any real benefits to using estriol cream on your face if you're not roiding or is it pointless? How do you know if you need it in the first place?
