-Ethnic parents are often unnecessarily harsh and strict to their children. Many of my friends have gotten into trouble for the most harmless things.

-Violence is casual and normal. Beatings and whippings are consider a regular part of life. Whether from parents, older kids, teachers etc, everyone is putting their hands on someone else.

-Mental illness isn’t take seriously. My friends uncle has schizophrenia and religious mania. He is receiving no support or help from anyone. I’m concerned that he may hurt others or himself.

-A lot of ethnic fathers are absolute scumbags too. Treat their wives and children horribly, cheat on their partners, have multiple families from different women etc.

Of course there are way more reasons why I’m not very fond of ethnic culture. I could go on all day, but you get the jist.

Ofc I also want to say that not every culture is perfect, there are good and bad parts to any society. This is not an attack on ethnics as a whole, just my own personal experiences growing up in a mostly ethnic urban area.
