One advantage of being a dark skinned ethnic or black in tourist places is that you'll never get robbed or pickpocketed. I've travelled to many places and the only people who get pickpocketed are whitecels or lightskinned ethnics. This is so true. Of all the places I’ve ever traveled to and walked the streets alone, I’ve never had any trouble from anyone. I could easily get jumped and robbed by a group of guys and they could get away with it but everyone literally leaves me alone. I live in the top 10 most dangerous city in America and have walked ally ways and the streets alone without getting robbed or bothered with also
