Yeah because in their culture (especially Asian cultures) whiteness is a status symbol that signifies wealth and purity. if we’re talking about hamza specifically he’s a curry and curries are some of the most white worshipping people ever. everyone in Bollywood is light skinned, and the few dark skinned people always play villains or side characters.

so a lot of ethnic men (and women too) will literally take anything that is white because it shows that they were able to pull someone of higher status and if they’re a self hating brown person, dating white people “validates” their insecurities and makes them feel better about themselves. and it’s not even their fault that they think like this, that’s just the culture they were brought up in. still very sad though.

This is only true for Indians and maybe MENA, in real life I’ve always seen blacks and Latinos preferring their own girls, white girls are like a side quest for them if even that. And if anything Latinas get the most attention from guys across races.

With white features being seen as high status, that increases their desirability but it doesn’t necessarily trigger real lust, desire and lust aren’t always the same.
