My country (in EU) passed some laws 1.7.2026 abiding by a general EU law called "Council Regulation (EU) 2026/382 of 11 February 2026 amending Regulation (EC) No 1186/2009 as regards the temporary flat-rate customs duty on low-value imports" where small orders <150 euros (from 3rd world countries specifically) aren't exempt from customs processing anymore. They now charge an extra 3 euro, not per package, but per item/unit (!!!) To explain why this is bad say you ordered a new phone case and a new phone charger all in the same package from china, instead of charging you a flat 3 euro for the whole package. Your seller/you now has to dox whats inside your package on the declaration and then charge 3 euro per every item in the case. Then they calculate 3 (phone case) + 3 (charger) = 6 euro.

This naturally wouldn't be an issue if I were ordering phone cases or whatever but how am I supposed to tell them what's inside the package without disclosing it's 10 fucking strips of 40mg isotretinoin??? Do I just have to like lie and tell them it's NOT illegal drugs/medicine but it's actually like homeopathic chakra vitamin supplements or some hippie bullshit thats not illegal?? Do I put down something vague and non descript instead? Is parcellflow or ordering from inside EU my only choice now?? Fuck do I do with this current package?

there are always options, find another indiamart seller that has their own triangular shipping route, use another forwarder (which ones work as an alternative will be found out the coming weeks since everybody is looking out for one) or simply find a personal contact in northern ireland that can help you
