I am not sure, but i think EU realized it's over for Russia.
Even if it takes Kiev, there is gonna be insurgency and guerilla warfare combined with economic sanctions, will sooner of later destroy Russia.

There are tons of civilians at the border rn.
If they would calculate something wrong NATO member would be bombed and everything turns shitty.
Also, supplies are probably delivered in secret so they wouldn't be shoot.

Russia has satellites and the only border where they can send that is Poland, the border is small they should definitely able to know whats going on there and strike it

There are few border passes and it's not like war is all over Ukraine and no trucks are going in there.
If they would just shoot the trucks then they would attack civilians, also I expect that jets will just fly there from NATO airport
