In this scenario, men are given ample resources to pay for sex with the vast majority (99%+ of the female population). However, the manner in which they select women under these circumstances is not skewed toward a narrow subset of the female population (as evident by the pseudo-normalized distribution of responses).

In other words, the notion that men fill sexual niches based on desperation is not necessarily dependent on desperation. Even men who are not desperate will still efficiently fill niches (which include objectively sub-par women), likely out of the innate concern that they could be competing with other men for sexual access to certain groups of women.
And this is simply on the basis of physical attractiveness. Behavioral factors (chastity, for example) add another layer of complexity.
