Not sure why social class is inherited though. Most of the wealthiest people usually come from middle class. Their parents might be doctors or lawyers or university professors or have a relatively small business, but that's far from the higher echelons.

Doctors and Lawyers are pretty upper class. Underlying balance sheet determines the true reality. Doctor/Lawyer is generally an access/prestige thing.

I am not talking about the super rich. I'm talking about those positioned so that time naturally makes their structural position more robust and embedded.

So a lot of "upper middle class" included.
