I work in property management for past 5 years and so engage with a lot of tradespeople (plumbers, renovators, electricians, repair men).
In the past, the ones I used were really good- efficient, got the job done quickly, lot of communication, great quality.
But now everything just goes so slowly- they'll just not get back to you, not give a shit, do a mediocre job.
It reminds me of when people talk about 3rd world countries, where things take ages to get done, too many complications etc.
Make no mistake, western 1st world standards are falling right before our eyes. People just aren't putting in the effort anymore, nobody gives a shit.
Probably those tradesmen are getting no poon at home- their wife is barely giving them starfish sex- so they just don't have any drive to do a good job.
