even though im wealthy im still insanely envious of those who are richer than me

ive had a comfortable affluent upbringing

2 vacations every year or so

a beachfront vacation home

but i still get jealous of others who have more material wealth than me

It's how our brains are wired. No matter how much we have, we still want more. We're never truly satisfied. Maybe some people are, but most of us got to keep going. That's why it's not uncommon to hear about rich people doing immoral things to please themselves, as they don't know what else to do with the money.
