I'm gonna keep washing my hair with hot water for now on and see what happens or just get a haircut, probably the haircut or just grow it out a little longer if it doesn't improve then yeah I'm fucked

That's just excess testosterone from cold showers
 
Cold showers helps your hair because you retain more essential oils
