I have already decided to give up on the idea, I'll just live my life without burdening myself with family. I find it hard to interact with people,let alone to form a functioning family,too much effort and I'd ruin it most certainly if I ever even got close to starting it

Yes logically, in the bigger perspective of the universe, nothing matters. There have been physicists that have deteriorated mentally because they understand how big universe is and how little earth matters in that context.

Even though it's true, it's the wrong way to look at life. You can enjoy your life so much that you don't even care about the bigger context. You weren't born here to suffer. We are on this little planet with our own goals and the bigger picture doesn't really matter that much to us. Time to time it's fun to think about the universe and everything it contains and go down a few rabbit-holes, but living with that mentality is just wrong.

Go tell a mother who lost his son that "hey universe is actually very big and earth is so small that nothing really matters".

It's extremely pointless to let this question make you feel bad, because it doesn't really matter, nature didn't design us to figure it out, nature designed us to hunt for food, reproduce and to reach our goals.

Maybe your problem is that you haven't achieved anything lately or haven't put in the work.
