I was thinking the other day, there is a 1 in 4 trillion chance of being born a human, much less one without congenital defects. Despite the fact that I am a curry, I am actually pretty grateful to be born a human. Imagine being stuck as an ant or something. That would suck.

Sorry for schizo rant, it's just crazy to think that we have such a low chance of being this way. If we were born as anything else, or worse, not born at all, we would never get the chance to listen to music or to play our favorite video game or do anything really.

By simply being born you are automatically a chosen one.

Obviously not, but it's kind of like having hindsight bias. As in you need to wake up to realize that you had a good night's sleep the last night.

Likewise, by being born a sentient human and not a mindless ant, you can realize that this existence is far better.

Also I'm not convinced that being a human is any better than being any other species. Sure we are capable of dominating the other species but I'm pretty sure no other species is capable of experiencing as much psychological suffering as us. At least they get to be blissfully unaware of death until it happens to them.

Lmao cope, this logic is flawed, why grateful? Nothingness is the best solution cause you never existed to know what life is. Being human is miserable, you will see your parents die, hardships through life etc.
