It's for grifters like Hamza and Austin Dunham who robbed the PSL sphere of all the hard work done by contributors for free over the years. They try to steer these young dumb kids away from hopelessness with the "older, wiser big brother" schtick because most of these kids have zero strong male figures in their lives... Back then there was a stigma around BP content that made people not even want to argue with BP. To them it was just "incel spree shooters" who are not worthy to even argue with since "they are just insane".
Nowadays people are more receptive to looks theory because dating apps and social media like Tik Tok are making clear to everyone that looks are important for men.
On top of creating his channel in a much more looks-aware era than before, Wheat Waffles managed to create a BP channel that did not suffer from stigmas by

1. having a presentation that seemed analytical, using tons of tables and graphs
2. collaborating with redpill / PUA channels
3. not being toxic
4. avoiding controversial topics(racepill)
5. dissociating himself from the incel community
6. Being very consistent with his content

It made his content very popular quickly, and more attractive to normies who would normally just brush those kind of things off as "incel pseudoscience" or "incel excuses". I know because those are the exact reactions they had when I first shared his content to them a year ago. "Wow he isn't like those angry incels! I can't lie what he says seems to have some truth...". Now I regret having promoted his channel... I never imagined he would grow that big and get 2 times as many subs as FaceandLMS. It's a very bad thing because those things should not go mainstream.
