I really do believe that good people don't exist and that things like compassion and empathy were just invented by the worthless members of society as a form of self-defense so that their betters would not kill them or leave out to die. Consider that for 90% of history people have been ok with slavery and murder, and in general treated each other like a piece of crap. Also consider how 90% of people complaining about "regressive" things like looks being seen as important, how meritocracy is evil somehow etc are almost always sub-human bottom feeders. Even today most people are shit and only pretend to be good people for their own purposes. You can argue that some people are perhaps not as evil compared to others but there are no people who are basically good.

Nobody is whom they appear to be on the outside, nobody.
