Not everyone will respond to dut. It’s a drug after all. You should take fin as a backup too. 0 reason not to, other than a slight cost

dut literally does everything fin does and then some. fin is more selective therefore "objectively weaker" :dafuckfeels:

That’s implying someone responds to dut. It’s like any drug. Not everyone will respond. Doesn’t matter if it’s stronger than fin in the majority, some may only respond to fin

No
It’s the correct way. This guy regressed on dut
That’s why I’m saying u need to take fin as a backup in case you’re a dut non responder
what i'm thinking happened here is that he got raped by scalp testosterone

since dut blocks more dht, his total T increased -> more scalp testosterone which raped his hair since dht is not the only cause of hair loss

I’ve never really understood that hypothesis, as yes, there will be slightly more testosterone with dut than fin, but also less dht, and dht is the major player

but its not the only player, scalp testosterone is too

that could be the only explanation here

fin blocks less dht than dut so fin didn't raise his scalp T too much, but dut blocks more dht -> more scalp t

Yes, but still less dht, which is more important than more test
There’s a possibility that he would also bald on fin, and that he’s just sensitive to any androgens
Or, he’s a dut non responder. Haircafe mentioned a study on this in one video. Not everyone responds to any given drug

that makes no sense, the only difference is:

- dut lowers dht more than fin
- dut lowers both type 1 and type 2 5-alpha-reductase as opposed to fin which only lowers type 2

IF he had dht blood work, he would be able to verify the drop in dht

the only way he's a 'non-responder' is if he got snake oil and the dut didn't nuke his dht

LEAVING THE ONLY potential problems being:
- some rare polymorphism that made the reduction in type 1 5-alpha-reductase detrimental to his hair
- increase in scalp testosterone (which you are clearly undermining its effects on hair loss) led to more loss due to higher total T from dut

Only solution is pinning E, the forum femboys were right all along

How does it make no sense? The idea that fin can work better than dut as there is less scalp testosterone is complete nonsense, as there is also more scalp dht
And yes, not everyone responds to dut

From 18:00
It’s a drug. Responses vary. It’s not just a switch that reduces dht. It’s a drug

Well you disputed me in the first place when that’s what I was saying. Not everyone responds to a drug the same way
