I might have a revelation could you please answer the following questions:

1. Do you struggle to hold eye contact with strangers?

I find it a bit uncomfortable, but it isn't something I can't do. But I dislike anyone that makes me feel the need to fake natural eyecontact, it's a boundary only my friends and family get to cross.

With my friends and family I don't mind eye contact, tho I'd guess I still have less eye contact than usual for NT's.

2. Do you prefer to be on your own?

I prefer to be on my own when the alternative is to be with neurotypicals (NT's). When with other neurodiverse (ND's) I prefer that to my own company. Some mixed NT-ND groups I also prefer to my own company.

3. When in social settings and alcohol isn’t a present do you stick to the same groups of people? As in you don’t go out of your way to talk to strangers and introduce yourself.

If you sit down and observe at a social gathering you'll see that basically no one goes out of their way to talk to strangers, it's only when a member of both social groups bridges the gap or there is a shared activity or context to talk about it happens.
I don't generally find people interesting, but if I find someone interesting I will talk to them.

4. Are you awkward around people you know but aren’t familiar with? Like people you know knows you and vice versa, but you two don’t really talk together.

I am "akward" with pretty much all NT's, I've made friends with pretty much every autist I've met, so I find it hard to answer this.

Perhaps yes if NT, no if ND. But I've learned small talk after reading lots of books about it, but it did not come naturally to me, but now I have don't have big problems with it anymore.

5. Do you struggle to make close friends? As in you can be half friends with a lot of people but not incredibly close friends with anybody?

Yes, I have basically no close friends nor have I ever had them in the past, I have a single cousin that I have a closeish bond to but we only see each other ~8 times a year.

This is so real. When I’m high I see and notice all my social short comings when talking to people. This is why I prefer being high alone if that makes sense. I like smoking with people and just going home. I get uneasy and nervous around others when I realise my social short comings.

Use weed to fix this. Don't just observe it. In fact try to be more of a listener while high than a talker. It goes a long way

Do you fit any of the autism symptoms though? It's only after getting high AF on weed that my brain unlocked the realization that I'm autistic, all my friends in the past were autistics, and I don't relate to NT people.

I didn’t look up any of the symptoms to be honest. But I will say my social skills have taken a hit after NEETmaxxing for years on and off. But nothing that can’t be fixed. I went to vocational school last year for a few months and by then I was already NTmaxxed again.
