Today i will share some very important information that no one talks about.
I have been reading a lot of users here talking about the human cranium without any real knowledge. The way a human skull develops is much more complicated then you think.
I will talk about the important of dental arches, and why everyone with a chin is recessed.
First i want you to compare a moder human skull with other animals skulls.
Notice how humans are the only animals with “chins”
This is because evey human (with a chin) is recessed.
People here think only jaws can be recessed, but dental arches can also be recessed.
Most of the time the dental arch and jaws are recessed togheter.
In some rare cases the jawbone grows properly but the dental arch stays recessed.
This guy has a very recessed lower dental arch (compared to mandible), his jawbone grew properly but his (lower) dental arch is recessed.
Chins are basically a genetic mutation which occured thousands of years ago because of bad habits during development.
Some people, such as certain Arctic or African tribe members, still have no/very minimal chins, because they still live natural, didnt suffer from famine for generations and still have natural habits.
Is having a recessed (lower) dental arch bad? No, in modern society having a chin (recessed lower dental arch) is seen as something good. It only becomes a failo if your lower dental arch is too recessed compared to the mandible, like the guy with the large chin i used earlier in this thread.
Having a non-recessed lower dental arch basically makes your mandible looks recessed, even though its not. This dude probally has a good bite but his mandible looks recessed to someone who isn’t well educated about the cranium.
I hope you learned something from this thread, please leave a like if you did. If you have any questions you can ask me
